Lippitt Youth of the Year Entry for 2009
As she grows into a fine young lady, Brittany continues to amaze me with her ongoing commitment to the Lippitt family.
She played a very large part in the Club’s Equine Affaire booth in November of 2008. She helped pack, unpack, decorate, add price tags, organize and man the booth for 3 days with the Potts and other LC volunteers.
She joins me on every adventure to visit other Lippitt owners, and is always a most gracious host to those that come to our farm. I love listening to her coach her friends on the history of the horse as she gives mini riding lessons on Special Occasion.
With camera in hand, she’s constantly taking new photos of our horses, creating ads for Brook Hill and now offering her services to any other Lippitt owner that’s interested. You’ve seen her work in some of our recent newsletters. She’s also contributed with a youth corner, and shared her photos and adventures from the 2008 Lippitt Country Show.
I have been anxiously waiting for our mare Ashley to mature enough to start a serious training program, and again, Brittany is there. I love watching her ride Ashley; they look so comfortable together. Brittany and I broke Ashley to harness too, and Brittany is now learning the ins and outs of driving with a local youth driving club.
She’s created her own collections of Lippitt info, and started her own list of names for her future farm. She’s also done some of her own artwork to share with fellow Lippitt owners.
I’ve said this before and will say it again. As lucky as I am to have Miss Brittany Pinet in my life, I believe the Lippitt Morgan is even more fortunate.
