It is official and we are pleased to announce Amadeus Mozart Ara-Li * will
be receiving The Justin Morgan Supreme Versatility Championship it is
achieved by earning 4 Justin Morgan Honor Championships in 4 DIFFERENT
divisions.
In 2006 he received the The Justin Morgan supreme Performance Championship by earning 4 Justin Morgan Honor Championships in a SINGLE division. His was Carriage driving. He has now accumulated enough points over his lifetime to receive The Justin Morgan Supreme Championship Award. A horse earning a Justin Morgan Supreme Championship will be entitled to use an asterisk (*) after the name of the horse.
These awards are through the Canadian Morgan Horse Association. They were
established in 1973 'Moe' is joining only 4 other Morgan's in the country who
have received the Supreme Championship.
This is a an award system they developed in the Canadian Morgan Horse Association. There are divisions ex. English Pleasure, Driving, Western etc.
1000 points gets a Justin Morgan Medallion. 4 in one division earns the supreme for Performance. 4 in different divisions earns supreme for Versatility and 8 in at least 4 different divisions the Supreme. It is all explained on the CMHA website if anyone
wants to go look. The divisions 'Moe' has his Justin Morgan Medallions in are
Pleasure Driving, Driving General Purpose ( Carriage Division Classes)
English General Purpose (road hack , show hack, dressage etc anything in
English tack except Hunter Seat Pleasure) and the last one and hardest to
get Hunter Seat Pleasure.
This has been a major goal for us for those who don't know 'Moe' is a son of
Jake Mint and Amadeus Nekomis Ash, he was born here in New Brunswick and we have
owned him all his life.

Lippitt Morgan Drill Team Preparing for Debut at 2010 Lippitt Country Show
The brainchild of LC member and Lippitt owner Chantelle Waldron, a group of Lippitt enthusiasts have been rallying in New England to create their own Lippitt Morgan Drill Team. Chantelle (with her mare, Randallane Crescent Unity) has experience with a Drill team she enjoys in her home state of New York and has been kind enough to take fellow Lippitt owners (big and small) under her wing.
The majority of Lippitts in this endeavor are proudly owned and shared by member Crescent Peirce of Northfield, MA. The enthusiasm of the Peirce family and her youth group is contagious! The Goddings from Connecticut have joined the fun with 2 Lippitts and youth members, while the Pinets are doing their own practice runs in Maine.
The group is looking forward to making their debut at the Lippitt Country Show on Sunday, August 22nd during the show’s lunch break. Please join us in showing your support of this exciting endeavor, and our young members of the Lippitt Club!
The Lippitt Club at the 2010 Driving Forum, Nashua, New Hampshire
March 15 and 16 marked a return of the Lippitt Club to the Driving Forum, a combination trade show, and lecture series held in New Hampshire this year. This was our second time and definately our best as the club benefitted from a prime location, just outside the lecture hall . Driving Forum is devoted to introducing the sport of carriage driving to people who may never have ridden a horse, or those who are just looking for something new to try with their current riding pony the kids have outgrown. Experienced "whips" as drivers are called can find top notch trainers to ask questions of as well as probably the best shopping experience competely devoted to our sport. The Lippitt Club booth attracted a lot of visitors who enjoyed the pictures and video. We sold a lot of items and gained at least three new members, and introduced Lippitt Morgans as potential carriage horses to about five hundred participants.
The Driving Forum will return in 2012 and we will hopefully be participating again
Morgans Recreate 1796 History, September 2009

The Morgan Mile Road Race By Heather Pinet

I hadn’t planned on going this year, but since its beginning I’ve always wanted to. How fortunate am I to have the Morgan Mile within driving distance, to be able to see and experience the history?
We were in VT just a few weeks ago, for the Lippitt Country Show. We were able to make the trek to see both of the Justin Morgan grave stones, with Mrs. Childs as our kind hostess. Standing on that hillside on a hot sunny day, envisioning the horse in all his glory gave me goosebumps. It even brought my chatterbox daughter to a moment of silence. We were in awe, and it truly felt inspirational.

Harwich Tyrant's Year End Achievements, 2009
The Old Dominion Morgan Horse Association (ODMHA) and the Virginia Carolinas Morgan Horse Club (VCMHC) both held their Year-End Awards dinners on November 14th, 2009, so naturally we could only attend one of them. The tabulators of these awards need to be commended, since it has got to be a Herculean task. My husband Cecil Jones and I attended the ODMHA dinner along with our friend Sylvia Brohawn of Show Offs Equine Displays.
Our stallion, Harwich Tyrant, was once again shown by Kimber Sobeck in 2009. This year, however, his show schedule was paired down to a minimum, so we were thrilled to hear Lillian Thomas announce that Tyrant has taken the Open Competition Championship! He was also Reserve Champion in Working Hunter, Halter, and Dressage. This sixteen year old horse can still show what a Morgan can do!

The Second Annual “Women and Horses Expo 2009”
November 6-8, 2009
Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, OK
I must say that I have never been to Oklahoma, but I was looking forward to attending the second annual Women and Horses Exposition held in Guthrie, OK.
Walking in downtown Guthrie is like stepping into the Victorian era. The truly magnificently designed architecture of Oklahoma’s first capital now is a hot spot for tourism.
Equine Affaire
Hi Everyone,
The Lippitt Morgan demo was a huge success and despite the pouring rain outside, the stands were about 85% full and everyone seemed to appreciate the gorgeous horses presented.
Thank you everyone,
"Time with a Lippitt is time well spent"
